The former St Luke’s church on Stepney Street, Cwmbrwla is our forever home! We bought it in April 2019, and after necessary access works and repairs, we opened the doors in October 2021. It’s an incredible space, and having a permanent base has been gamechanging for everyone at Circus Eruption.

Building development and repair is - of course - ongoing! Our big news of 2025 is that heating was installed and switched on in January, following four winters of no heating or difficult temporary heating solutions. This took so long because firstly we had to make sure we were going to install the most sustainable heating solution possible which also worked for our historic building’s fabric (it’s ‘air to air’, give us a shout if you want to know more!) and then we had to find funding… Thanks to the Shared Prosperity Fund through Swansea council who finally made this possible.

We’re very excited to have received funding from Catalyst Cymru through WCVA to produce two films - about our future hopes for the mission hall/school room and about ‘the story so far’ - enjoy!

Standard Hall Hire is £30 an hour plus heating, although we are always looking to support community events and circus so please Get In Touch if you are interested in using our space!
