We want to build on the difference we are already making. We know that what we do works, and we want to do more
- Organise outreach work
- To promote the active participation of all children and young people
involved in workshops - To promote inclusion through all the work we do
- Conduct risk assessments and other necessary assessments on all activities
- We are still one of the only integrated projects in the area.
Young people will learn a variety of circus skills, increasing their self-awareness, self-esteem and self-confidence in the following ways:
They will experience:
- A non-competitive environment for learning
- Engagement in supported risk-management
- Experience of teamwork and co-operation
- Opportunities for peer learning and teaching
Learning new skills will lead to:
- Improved spatial awareness and co-ordination *
- A sense of achievement
These things added together create a perfect recipe for young people to find a new vision of themselves.
