Community Work

We want to build on the difference we are already making. We know that what we do works, and we want to do more

  • Organise outreach work
  • To promote the active participation of all children and young people
    involved in workshops
  • To promote inclusion through all the work we do
  • Conduct risk assessments and other necessary assessments on all activities
  • We are still one of the only integrated projects in the area.

Young people will learn a variety of circus skills, increasing their self-awareness, self-esteem and self-confidence in the following ways:

They will experience:

  • A non-competitive environment for learning
  • Engagement in supported risk-management
  • Experience of teamwork and co-operation
  • Opportunities for peer learning and teaching

Learning new skills will lead to:

  • Improved spatial awareness and co-ordination *
  • A sense of achievement

These things added together create a perfect recipe for young people to find a new vision of themselves.
